Dental care for children is an essential part of our daily work. We adopt an early preventive approach. We recommend therefore two check-ups begining after birth. This will help us integerate your child into the norms of dental care and get him or her used to regular dental appointments. We lay great emphysis on integrating the parents. Our team works close and supports the parents taking care of their children's teeth.
Begining of 6 years of age, we start with regular thourough tooth cleaning every 6 months. Needless to say, we believe milk teeth are equally important as permanent teeth and schould be given equally special care.
If a dental treatment is necessary, we believe the child should be explained in age approperiate words about every step so that he or she does not have a traumatic experience. A traumatic experience should be avoided since it could lead the child to develop dental phobia in the future.
